Weddings and Personal Pieces

One thing I feel I should mention is the fact that I do custom jewelry for weddings. I also make custom pieces of jewelry for individuals or gifts they want to give for different occasions.

Abalone and Rose Quartz Earrings

These abalone and rose quartz earring were made to compliment the abalone and rose quartz necklace that was posted first on this blog. I think the rose quartz makes the colors in the abalone just pop out at you...

Confetti

This little necklace is one of a type of necklace that I call my confetti necklaces. I like the different stones separated by the small space giving it a light feel. These pieces are perfect for either dressing up or being casual in your jeans.

Isis

This lovely piece has beads of lapis lazuli and carnelian. The pendant is silver and it is an image of the goddess Isis. Both stones are considered to be associated with ancient rulers. Egyptians carried carnelian on their person as a source of energy and constant renewal of vitality. Lapis was wore by rulers for its protective properties and in Egypt it was ground up and used as eye adornment.

more examples

After working on things the past couple of days I was thinking I should add a few more examples of my work.

The first example today is of an agate necklace. The beads making up this neclace are highly polished and if you'll notice the tear drop pendant piece of agate has more of a rough finish to it.
The story behind this stone is that it is said to be found in formerly volcanic areas.

Preview of some new pieces

Here's an example of one of my abalone pieces. In this piece the abalone is combined with rose quartz.

The second necklace is made of unakite and silver beads.

The last necklace we have lovely shades of purple ... These beautiful beads are amethyst spaced with silver and the delicate faceted pendant is a stone called ametrine.

Here We Go!

I'm up and on the web (finally :) and ready to showcase all my new and favorite custom pieces!
